Dear Mr. Peroutka,
I really benefit from your writings and share them with my family. I want to share ["Roe v. Wade - Are We Marching in the Wrong Place?"] with others as well. Clearly written and logical! I find the topics of your First Fridays talks very interesting. I have thought of traveling to your First Friday talks. However, as I live in Richmond, Virginia and have 4 boys at home it would be a concerted effort. So, I am writing to ask about this venue. Do people travel from far and wide to your First Friday talks? Do local people mainly attend? Do the far-away folks order CDs or download podcasts, etc? Also, do children ever attend? My youngest 2 are 8 and 9 years old. I know that you are very busy and in demand. I would be so grateful for a response, when you might have time. Thank you.

Thank you so very much for your kind note. Your message is an encouragement to me and I am grateful. I will try to address your questions.
Yes, there are many local people who attend and yes, there are a number of folks who drive quite a distance to enjoy the presentations. We are very family-friendly and many children do attend. Some of those children are members of very faithful homeschool families who bring the whole clan.
We do produce DVD copies of the presentations every month, and many of those who attend also purchase them. I am sending you a couple of them as our gift to you. DVDs of most of our First Friday events may be ordered from our online Store or by calling 866-730-9796. The DVD of each month’s presentation is usually available within a few weeks after that month’s First Friday event.
We also livestream our First Friday events so that anyone anywhere may watch, and submit questions. You can access the live streaming from our website at TheAmericanView.com. Click on the “Events” tab, and then on the “Event Live Feed” button. (The direct link to that livestream page is: http://www.theamericanview.com/events/first-fridays/first-friday-live-feed/.) If you have any trouble finding how to get the webcast, please call us at 866-730-9796 any business day or before 3pm on First Friday afternoons.
We currently offer courses of study on the U.S. Constitution, the Maryland Constitution, and The Duty of the Jury.
