It has been an exhausting, yet very gratifying week in Northern California. This area is now becoming known as “The State of Jefferson”. Due to hard work and practicing liberty, 11 counties have filed articles of intent to break away from the State of California and start their own state, Jefferson. The week started on Monday with Terry and Sally Rapoza at the Redding Tea Party, and man were people hungry for the message! We almost sold out of all our product! Terry and Sally have provided very strong leadership locally as well as being heavily involved in the “State of Jefferson” movement. State and federal officials, clergy, and your everyday Christian patriots frequent their meetings and we had a great time!
Tuesday brought me near to the Oregon boarder to a little city called Yreka where I was fortunate to address a Republican Woman’s group led by my wonderful host Deanne Terry and later that night Louise Gliatto of the Yreka Tea Party Patriots had me come and speak about the proposed Article V convention of States. The group met in a Church with a Pastor who practices his right to “bear arms” every Sunday! At this event I also had the opportunity to address close to a dozen students from the local public high school that showed up for the evening to get extra credit in their government class - the presentation lasted about 2 hours and not one student left! Praise God! You can see the picture with one of the students and me who asked a heart-breaking question, “What is wrong with socialism?” I am so grateful to God for the opportunity to answer that and point her to our Constitution and precious truths of the Bible that underpin this document!
Later that night you will see in the video I was able to sit down with the main spokesperson for the State of Jefferson, Sheriff Deputy Mark Baird. What an awesome Godly leader and solid. Listen to his personal message to all of us on the video.
Wednesday brought me to Grass Valley, California, where I was able to graduate another IOTC class from our 12 Lecture US Constitution Course! I also launched another course of study because these graduates want to teach others this priceless knowledge. Now that is something to get excited about. The group leaders are Jan Collins, leader of the Nevada County Tea Party, Cheryl Steward and Susan McGuire. Also I want to give a special thanks to Peter and Barbara Fanchoni for allowing me to stay at their lovely Elam Biggs Bed and Breakfast, what a treat!
Thank you everyone for all your prayers and financial support that allows IOTC to spread this message across the nation. Stay tuned for more from N. California area; I am not even halfway done yet!
