Once Jailed for Homeschooling Beliefs, NCHEA Brings IOTC’s American View to NE

The Nebraska Christian Home Educators Association (NCHEA) is an organization that was born in the fire! Pioneers of the homeschooling movement, Nebraska home educators know what it is like to fight for what they believe in. Many individuals were harassed, and even spent time in jail simply for supporting the right to educate children at home! (See picture below)

The current leadership of the NCHEA conference – pictured below with Institute on the Constitution President Jake MacAulay – is dedicated and determined to keep Christ in education.

Jake was invited to speak at the conference earlier this year, specifically to introduce the Biblical underpinnings of the U.S. Constitution and American Government.

Topics of Jake’s presentations included:

  • The American View of Law and Government
  • Faith, Values, and the Constitution
  • The Constitution & The Bill of Rights – The Real Story
  • American Education: Four Centuries of American Education

Listen to some of the responses from Jake’s presentations:

“I’m always grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the restoration of America through the homeschooling movement.” – IOTC President Jake MacAulay
