Institute on the Constitution’s (IOTC) Jake MacAulay traveled to the Midwest last month, launching another United States Constitution course class in Mansfield, OH. After speaking to the congregation at both services of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, a classroom was filled with anxious students who want to learn more about the relationship of God and Government, Christianity and the Constitution.
Phyllis McPheron and Barney Musselman, assisted by Ethel Briggs, conducted a Spring 2016 IOTC course, with newly updated curriculum and videos, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Ricki Pepin, the Ohio leader for the IOTC, along with Bryan and Janice Snyder (pictured), were guest instructors for Lessons 11 and 12, and they assisted with the graduation and awarding of certificates of completion for the course.
The class members were encouraged to “multiply the message” of what they learned in the course by sharing with others in their community, so that more citizens can learn the truth about the Biblical founding of the United States! Many thanks to Pastor Penti Maki of Trinity Lutheran Church for hosting the spring 2016 IOTC course!
This course originated when the Pastor of the Church, Pentti Maki attended a One-Day Seminar for pastors and church leaders. Sponsored by yet another Institute on the Constitution Chapter in Ohio lead by Ricki Pepin, Ellen Horton, and Bryan and Janice Snyder. This inspired Pastor Maki to share this important information in his own community.
