God-given Rights Taught in School: Life, Liberty, and Property (VIDEO)

Institute on the Constitution (IOTC) President Jake MacAulay recently spoke at 1st Lutheran, a 140-year-old school in Knoxville, Tennessee.  IOTC Chapter Leader, Pastor Paul Becker set up a fantastic morning and afternoon where Jake spoke to three different classes of 5-8th graders.

In his presentations, Jake thoroughly covered the American View of Law and Government:

  1. There is a God
  2. Our rights come from Him
  3. The purpose of civil government is to secure God-given rights

As you can see in the video above, children learned and memorized their basic God-given rights: life, liberty, and property.

Don’t you wish every school in America would teach this lesson?
