Before taking our Institute on the Constitution 12 Lecture Course, Jan Collins was an Agnostic Patriot. After inviting Jake and David to come deliver lectures and speak at various events, the lights turned on for Jan. “Liberty cannot be found absent the Creator God and His Son Jesus Christ.”

On fire with American View of Law and Government and with the help of Christian Patriots in her area, Jan orchestrated numerous classes teaching IOTC classes and courses that totaled over 100 graduates in less than a year!

On one of Jake’s visits Jan told him “We believe that God has a plan for us and, though we may not know what it is, we will be ready when he is ready to reveal it. In the mean time, we will continue our efforts by reaching out to our communities, elected officials, schools, and our religious leaders encouraging them to discover the miracle of our Constitution and our Founder’s Biblical worldview that gave us the amazing country we call the United States of America.”

It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of this incredible lamp of liberty. Finally at peace, this wonderful woman is able to rest in the Arms of the Creator whose cause she championed.

Jan Collins was the IOTC Northern California Chapter Leader, co-founder of Common Core Concerns – Nevada County, past President of the Nevada County Tea Party, a business owner, a mom, and a grandmother of 7.

Her work will continue in Nevada County through the amazing dedication and work of her son, David Collins, and IOTC Instructors, Sue McGuire, Cheryl Heward, and Claudia Taylor.

Jan’s family is hosting a brunch in Memory of her beautiful life. The invitation is below.

The Constitutionality of Long Distance Air Strikes

In Article II, Section 2, the Constitution provides that the President is the Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Navy. But the title “Commander in Chief” alone does not provide justification to kill anybody.

The American View is Back in the Public Schools

In fact, for past year, I have visited a different public institution of learning on almost every trip I make! Generally, I am invited in as a guest speaker who teaches the Constitution. It is as simple as that.

Guns Save Lives

The natural and God-given right of self-defense is perfectly summed up by this exposition found in America’s fundamental law which regulates all our civil government institutions: “…the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
