Events

On Saturday, February 23, Washington Heights Baptist Church in Dayton,Ohio hosted a one-day seminar – The Truth of America’s Founding – Your Heritage & Mine.  Amanda Kwast and Barbara Burkard pulled together this event in three short weeks and nearly 30 people attended, including some high school and college age students.  As is always the case with IOTC events, enthusiasm ran high as new and old truths were revealed.  Some grandparents brought their teenage grandchildren.  Lots of questions were asked and answered as a new group was equipped to multiply the message in their spheres of influence.  Ricki Pepin led this class and believes the Martin Luther King, Jr. quote we use in this class was successfully activated:  “The church must be reminded that it is…the conscience…guide and critic of the state…”

The Convention of States

Interest and enthusiasm is growing to learn more about current events from a Constitutional perspective. This was clearly demonstrated as the room filled to capacity quickly, with about 80 people attending from both sides of this issue.
