Institute on the Constitution (IOTC) had two U.S. Constitution Course graduations in Hastings, NE on Monday, March 26 and Tuesday, March 27. The first was made up of students in the South Central Christian Home Educators Association (SCCHEA) homeschool co-op. They completed the first 6 lessons last fall, and completed the last 6 lessons in the spring to receive their certificates. The second was of a group who began the class on January 9. The class came about because, after looking over their kids’ shoulders at the homework they were doing, a few of the moms in the homeschool co-op asked me if I would teach the class in the evenings so families could attend together. Approximately 35 people (not all pictured) consistently attended the Tuesday night classes, and graduated last night.
As Stephanie Shade, the leader of these particular classes, said,
It was a wonderful experience for all. We so very much appreciated the course, and now feel empowered to affect positive change in our nation, by God’s grace. (One participant in the Tuesday night class even decided to run for the Nebraska state legislature!) Thank you so much for the important work you do!
We are actively reaching and teaching people about our founders and biblical heritage! Our cause is not one that we fight alone for. There are hundreds of modern day patriots that all stand together and against the tyranny that is shaping out of our government, and, with God’s blessing, we will crush oppression! If God is for us, none will stand against us! Please, help us to reach more people and tell them of our Christian Heritage!

15-year-old Invents New “Pilgrims Progress” Character: Forgiven

If I were in the story of Pilgrim’s Progress, my name would be Forgiven; Forgiven would come into play when Christian is sinking deep into the river of doubt; and Forgiven will be there to show Christian that he is truly forgiven. Forgiven helps Christian get across the river because he showed Christian the importance of knowing that he is forgiven. This principle not only applies to Christian, but the whole world itself.
