American Club Member, Karis Peters on “The Slavery of Our Day!”

Last week we shared a video of “American Club” member, Karis Peters, called “We need God again in America.”  It was an Internet sensation! Below is an excerpt from one more of her more recent speeches. While there are some inconsistencies surrounding the war between the states that she speaks of, one thing is for sure, she nails the major premise that abortion is the slavery of our day!

Abortion: The “Slavery” of our Day

by Karis Peters, 17yrs old

Slavery was the issue in the days of Abraham Lincoln. It was the determining factor in the 1860 presidential election when he beat Democrat, Stephen Douglas.

Ladies and Gentleman, we are now burdened with an issue that is just as big, if not bigger. We are right now murdering over 3,000 children a day in America clinically and legally.  We’ve killed 60 Million kids since 1973. And we do all this knowing that our forefathers wrote in the Declaration of Independence that All men are created equal, and are endowed by their Creator with the certain unalienable Rights of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. This was the reason our nation first began, and yet we refuse to offer these rights to the most innocent.

What’s most troubling of all is the Christians who marginalize and make this issue like any other issue. Popular Pastors, Christian leaders and musicians say we can vote either party because there are other equally important issues. After all, what about poverty, the environment, and our standard of living? What about the quality of life for those who are already born? So we vote for our pet causes while 3,000 kids a day are marched into clinics to be murdered.

The Word of God is clear. Life begins in the womb. Psalm 139:13 says, You knitted me together in my mother’s womb. Jeremiah 1:5 says, Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. In Luke 1, John the Baptist leapt in his mother’s womb when Unborn Jesus came into the room. Friends, if your jumping, you’re alive!

The warnings in Scripture about harming little children are also very clear and fearful. Exodus 20:13 says, Thou shalt not murder. Luke 17:2 says “It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.”

Not only does Scripture Say we are killing babies, but Science itself also tells us we are destroying life. A baby’s heart beat starts at only 18 days after conception. Movement starts at around 6 to 8 weeks. These kids also feel pain. The well-known Dr. Albert Liley said, “When doctors first began invading the sanctuary of the womb, they did not know that the unborn baby would react to pain in the same fashion as a child would. But they soon learned he did.” 4D Ultrasounds show us real life inside the womb. 78% of women seeing an ultra-sound reject abortion.

Norma McCorvey, the “Roe” in the famous Roe VS Wade Supreme Court case, recently died in February of 2017. What you may not know is that later on in her life she repented, was born again and for the rest of her life fought for the lives of the unborn. In her testimony she said, “I was sitting in O.R.’s offices when I noticed a fetal development poster. The progression was so obvious, the eyes were so sweet. It hurt my heart, just looking at them. I ran outside and finally, it dawned on me. ‘Norma’, I said to myself, ‘They’re right’…that’s a baby! It’s as if blinders just fell off my eyes and I suddenly understood the truth—that’s a baby!

Folks, Norma’s right. We Are murdering babies. We all know it. America murders babies like Hitler murdered Jews. The world will proudly say, “It’s the woman’s choice. It’s her body”. Well If it’s her body then why isn’t she the one who dies? No, The fact is, it’s the baby’s body. the baby is the one who dies.

So what do we do about this. The unborn can’t save themselves. They can’t vote. They can’t march or hold up a sign. If we don’t help them nobody will. No other issue compares to saving the unborn. Ladies and Gentlemen, Let’s be the Lincoln generation and abolish the “Slavery” of our time.
