Institute on the Constitution (IOTC) President Jake MacAulay recently shared the stage with Ambassador Chris Stevens’ former fiancé, Lydia Denier (both pictured with Jake and his wife, Heather, below), at a VIP women’s club (San Diego Women Federated) in San Diego, California. “It was an honor to team together with others who love America and seek to restore her!“ said Jake.
Afterward, Jake and his family flew to Northern California to continue his lengthy speaking tour. They were fortunate to meet with IOTC Constitution Course graduate, turned instructor, Cindy Hren, who took time out of her day to show the MacAulay’s Ambassador Steven’s gravesite. Jake and Heather were so pleased to learn of the care the Nevada County Republican Women devote to Ambassador Steven’s grave. Here are comments from Cindy:
“I received a request today from Jan Collins that Jake MacAulay was here in Grass Valley and wanted to see Ambassador Stevens grave site. She asked me directions so he could go there. Since I said it was difficult to find, I said I’d take him there.
So I met him, his wife and 4 kids at the B&B (Biggs House) in Grass Valley and he followed me to the cemetery. This is the photo that Jake took of himself, his wife and me at the grave. He was pleased to know that some Republican women visit it often and take care of it.
I also shared how several women meet at the grave site to share prayers and how Penny Lucas came to play taps to honor him.
Jake said a nice prayer and took photos with all his family there too. It was a special event for them today.”
