America is currently fighting a large-scale war. No, it’s not in Iraq, Afghanistan, or any other overseas land; it’s taking place right here on American soil. It also doesn’t involve any guns , but it’s one of the greatest threats our Republic has ever faced. It’s the war on our Constitution and Christianity, a war of ideas and values, this battle is taking place online, in the courts and in our classrooms. Professors have indoctrinated their students with secularist lies and PC culture while politicians pass more regulations and unconstitutional laws. I’ve personally felt the impact of this war, being attacked for my personal beliefs in our Constitution and my Christian faith, being called intolerant and closed-minded for not following the anti-American doctrine of liberalism. But why should our generation care at all? Shouldn’t our parents and our elders be the ones fixing their mistakes? Complacency is why we’re in this situation in the first place. I personally refuse to stand idly by and will do whatever I can to stop the attack on freedom!
For my generation, we need to wake up to the internal threats to our Constitution and Christianity or we will lose our most basic of freedoms. Christianity keeps America and its citizens from being conquered by internal and external tyrannical forces. A society built on Christianity cannot tolerate these advances within their society or ungodly leaders who worry more about power and wealth than upholding their oath to office. So, in order to destroy our Christian society, government schools have pulled Christianity out of the classroom, along with deceiving students about the truth of the Constitution, its origins, and the faith of our Founding Fathers. They know that without Christianity they can make the republic susceptible to collapse, for as Benjamin Rush said, “The only foundation for a useful education in a republic is to be laid in religion. Without this there can be no virtue, and without virtue there can be no liberty; and liberty is the object and life of all republican governments”. Without Christianity, God is no longer the one giving us our rights of life, liberty, and property, but the government; and if the government is the source of our rights, it can just as easily take them away. Though it may seem like a long shot, the Supreme Court has already begun to strip away at our rights in cases like Roe v. Wade and giving the federal government new powers not delegated to it by the Constitution.
As my generation begins to enter adulthood and the halls of power, we need to fight back against the indoctrination by our professors and the violation of our God-given rights by our bloated federal government. We need to reeducate ourselves on the roots of the Constitution in God’s Law and in the Bible, not the opinions of the courts and our professors. As Thomas Jefferson said, “Anyone who desires to be ignorant and free desires what never was and never will be”. I plan on spending my time at the University of California, Davis, one of the flagship universities of liberalism in the country, learning their arguments while clinging to the truths about God’s laws and our Constitution. With this knowledge I will be able to better understand their positions, making them easier to tear down. I hope to one day sit on the bench of the Supreme Court and fight for the restoration of our American government to its Constitutional roots.
