IOTC’s Summer Law School Is for You!

January 3, 2011 · The American View

IOTC held its first Summer Law School class in June-July 2012 (description below). Read more here.

Summer is here and, with it, your opportunity to become better-equipped and perfect your argument for the American view of law and government. Join us for six weeks of in-depth review and stimulating discussion on:

  • The Law by Frederic Bastiat
  • Law and Liberty by Rousas J. Rushdoony
  • The U.S. Constitution

If you have read any parts of The Law or Law and Liberty, you know there is much to talk about and learn from! As we wrestle with the authors’ statements and frame the concepts in our own words, we become better able to articulate the principles of liberty and law to others, who have been indoctrinated into a mindset consistent with big government. This is not how LAW is taught in the other “law schools” . . . But it should be!

Classes will be held in our Pasadena classroom (8028 Ritchie Hwy, Suite 315, Pasadena, MD 21122)
Six Tuesdays at 7:00 pm (Doors open at 6:30)
June 19 – July 24, 2012

The books are available for purchase from our Store. Call 866-730-9796 or visit the Book Store during the evening of the class.

  • What is The American View?

Briefly stated, "The American View" of government is that there is a God, the God of the Bible, our rights come from Him, and the purpose of civil government is to secure our rights.

There are many views of government, from equally numerous world views. Americans are blessed that our Founders' Biblical Worldview informed their political philosophy and the framing of our founding documents.
