Sure Hope “Lil Wayne” NOT “Best Rapper Alive”

I don’t know “Lil Wayne” and am not familiar with his “music.” And I’m certainly not ready to yield to “Time” magazine’s judgment when in a headline over an article about him the magazine says he is “The Best Rapper Alive.” In any event, I hope “Lil Wayne” is not the “best rapper alive” because - well - because - if he is, I shudder to think what the “Worst Rapper Alive” must be saying.
For example, this article says, about “Lil Wayne”, that “his wordplay can be thrilling.” Got it? — “thrilling” - meaning, among other things, producing sudden, strong, and deep emotion or excitement; producing a tremor, as by chilling; vibrating; trembling; quivering.
OK. So, are you ready for some “wordplay” by “Lil Wayne?” Are you ready to experience sudden, strong, and deep emotion and/or excitement that will produce a chill-induced tremor? You ready to vibrate? To tremble? To quiver?
Well, ready or not, here’s some of that “Lil Wayne” “wordplay” that makes him the “Best Rapper Alive.” In this “Time” article he is quoted as saying: “My picture should be in the dictionary next to the definition of definition” (emphasis his).
Now, I gotta be honest here. When I read this quote, I felt - absolutely nothing. And I think it’s because I have no idea whatsoever what it means to say that one’s picture should be in the dictionary next to the definition of definition. But, I’ll go even further. I am certain that “Lil Wayne” has no idea whatsoever what it means to say that one’s picture should be in the dictionary next to the definition of definition!
His quote reminds me of the basketball coach who said about one of his star players, an aggressive but not too bright player: “He doesn’t know the meaning of the word ‘fear’ - one of several thousand words he does not know the meaning of.”
P.S. - And I wish guys like this would wear, prominently displayed, something other than a cross.
