There’s an old joke about attorneys that goes like this:

Q: How do you know when a lawyer is lying?
A: His lips are moving.

Similarly, regarding government use of Television to deliver propaganda, we might ask this:

Q: How do you know that something is not true?
A: I saw it on Television.

Though it may not have always been so blatantly obvious – today it’s clear that if you saw it – or heard about it — on television (ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, and FOX) it’s designed to mislead and misinform you. History also shows that it is probably designed to harm you in some way.

Major TV outlets are directed and controlled by the corporations that own them, in partnership with the government that regulates them. It seems that their goal is to shape your opinions toward acceptance of their efforts to endanger you, impoverish you or otherwise to harm you.

For example, you may remember the major media’s major push to scare you about Swine Flu. The hoax of a flu pandemic was manufactured into a scare in order to provide cover for the government’s plan to dramatically increase its unconstitutional meddling in healthcare — something outside of its legal jurisdiction.

Now, if you want to trust these people about Syria or Ben Ghazi or Obamacare, be my guest. But first, watch their lips.
