It became evidently almost immediately that the mass murderer in yesterday's killing spree at Fort Hood was a Muslim who was motivated by jihadist impulses.

Nidal Malik Hasan had told fellow soldiers that the Muslim who killed two recruiters last summer in Little Rock, Arkansas had done the right thing. He spoke openly of his belief that the Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq should rise up and fight the aggressor, by which he meant the U.S. military of which he inexplicably was a part....

Additionally Mr. Grigg made the following comments in answer to Fischer's write up sent to him an e-mail:

So -- should the military stop training and sub-contracting with Muslim soldiers and police in Iraq and Afghanistan? (Yes -- we shouldn't be there either, obviously.)


Should the CIA and its cohorts stop funding Muslim groups? (Yes.)


While stipulating to the history of Islam as a bloody-minded and bloody-handed religion, I have to ask: Is Fischer even aware of the history of the "Christian" American government's dealing with the Indians? Forced conversion at gunpoint; cynical negotiation of treaties that were immediately abrogated; mass plunder, rape, murder, and torture; wholesale dispossession; the seizure of a "blood tax" -- children taken by conquerors to be trained in their ways and used as "new soldiers" (tax collectors and occupation enforcers) -- all of the horrors Fischer imputes to the Muslims were the official policy of the U.S. government toward the Indians. To this day, the Indians live under a legal system that is close kindred to "dhimmitude."

Dreadful as it would be to endure Muslim rule, the government ruling us at present has demonstrated that it can, has been, and most likely will be, even worse.

Is Fischer acquainted with the parable involving "moats" and "beams"?
