You must use and have access to a valid email account to acquire a user id on this forum. When you sign up, you choose a password and a username - and also enter an email address.
TAV then attempts to send an activation email to that email address. If you do not receive the email in a short period of time, it is possible that it could wind up in a Junk or Spam folder. It could also fall into the internet blackhole, wherever that is.
*To resend an activation code use this url (http://theamericanview.com/forums/register.php?a=ver) . You will need to know the user name you selected.
*If you've forgotten your user name, use this url (http://theamericanview.com/forums/register.php?do=requestemail) to request that be mailed to the email you registered with.
*If you've forgotten your password, use this url (http://www.theamericanview.com/forums/login.php?do=lostpw).
*If you don't know your username or email, you shouldn't be using this forum. ;) or you should start over....
I'm certain the system works because there are over 400 members. That doesn't mean you aren't having problems, but it may be difficult to track down why...if resending the activation does not work try another email address. If that still does not work, please send me an email and we'll see what we can do: webmaster@theamericanview.com
