Could the TAV radio programs be put on Real player or Windows media, which would play immediately? I am on dial up --it takes 30 minutes to download then an hour listening.

Thanks!

I too am on dial up at home where I live now (after using DSL for years and I still have T1 at the office) Anyway, yes, that is a pain but just install the QuiclTime plug in for your web browser and you can play them right away.

They will download and and you can listen to as far as has downloaded.

mp3 files are also easy to stream. You may want to contact chatterbox to see if he would mind putting up m3u links to the programs.
Those simply allow you to stream the same file without downloading.
BTW, do you use iTunes?
I subcribe via iTunes and you can schedule it to download whenever they come available so it can download over night if you want.

Ok, I just tested a simple solution for you.

Download iTunes (itunes.com)
Install it and open the program
In the menu bar, select "advanced"
From there select "open stream"
Now, go the the website and copy the link to the mp3 that you want to listen to.
Try this one to test:
http://www.theamericanview.com/dictator/media/659/TheAmericanViewProg66.mp3

Make sure the address ends in .mp3

Paste that in to the window and hit ok.

It should stream just fine and once you do it a time or two, it is quite simple.

In addition to downloading TAV.
Does TAV play over the radio where you live? Maybe you could find a radio station that will carry it in your area then thousands of others can listen with you.

No, I have checked the radio schedule --nothing close :( More so, for others to listen to than for myself.

Thank you for all the suggestions y'all have given me. Hmmm. You are talking to a 'computer functionally illiterate' --too often I mess things up trying to install something new, or it takes me forever and a day and end up having to ask my ISP tech support for help --I thank God I have a good one that helps me with things outside of my email!

Don't know any of this new things but maybe I will try the iTunes.com instructions and hope and pray for a good outcome.

iTunes is an Apple product but it also works with Windows.
For people that don't know much about their computers, Apple is the best.
For people who DO know a lot about computer: Apple is the best :-)

But if you are stuck with windows, you can still get a little piece of Apple with iTunes.
