I do think that Reagan made a difference in moving us the right direction. I do think that for about four years after the "Contract With America" we actually moved in the right direction. Part of my reason for writing "Winning the Future" was that these waves of change actually come from the county, they don't come from Washington. It requires the American people to elect the kind of officials who will do what they want.
