What is the relationship between Mr. Peroutka and the Constitution Party? I was surprised to find their web site looking much different than I remembered it a year or so ago, and no mention of Mr. Peroutka.

Is there any kind of rift between them?

Thanks,
Allison Ward

Michael Peroutka was the Constitution Party's presidential candidate in 2004 and I believe he remains a leader of the Constitution Party of Maryland as he has been for several years. Speaking of Michael, is everything OK with him? John L. has been running the TAV show solo for the past few weeks.
Also, how about Scott W. ? There has not been any posts by him in quite a while. I thought for sure he would have something to say to the FredVonFlash group.

I spoke to Michael last Thursday evening or so. He was fine; just on the road and very busy. I have received emails from Scott within the last few days (perhaps as recently as today) and he mentioned wanting to spend more time with his family. I haven't listened to the most recent broadcast yet, but I gather it was hosted by John alone? I expect that we will be hearing from Michael publicly soon (within the next couple of weeks).

Who is the CP candidate this year? Is Judge Moore running for anything? :)
Does anybody know if there is even a candidate or party worth voting for anymore? I'm disgusted with politics.
God help us if we don't start getting some things right.:(

Thanks for the info - I would be happy to see Judge Moore as the Alabama Gov. :)
Now if other states could take the hint and get some good people, as a nation, we might have a chance.

Today I received a renewal notice from the "Constitutional Party", Lancaster, PA...asking for my yearly Party contribution to continue my Membership in the "Constitutional Party".

I have been making regular contributions to "The American Way"....

What is up? Are not the contributions all tied together?
What is the exact status of the "Constitutional Party" and "The American Way". Is one the official "party"; the other the "educational arm" only???

Theorbo,

TAV has never had any official relationship with the Constitution Party. Michael Peroutka was their presidential candidate in 2004. He has also been a leader of the Constitution Party of Maryland and a member of the national Constitution Party's Executive Committee for several years. The Constitution Party of Maryland has withdrawn from the Constitution Party although Michael Peroutka remains a member of the national Constitution Party's executive committee at least for now - according to a recent broadcast.

The American View has made it clear since their inception that there was no official relationship between them and the Constitution Party.

I'm registered Constitution in Maryland and this is the first I've heard of this. What happened?

I think that is pretty well answered in the latest TAV broadcast:

On another thread I asked if you resided in New York, that was before I saw this post of yours, so you can disregard that question of mine.
