Hey guys,
I noticed an icon on the right hand side of each post that said "Add to <INSERT NAME> reputation." I was just curious to know what that means, what it does, etc.
Thanks!

That is how you add/detract from someones reputation

Is there a way to determine or see how high or low a poster's reputation is?

Reputation is a simple "check and balance" where members can just keep each other marginally accountable.
It's working, but I'm not sure I've got it fully implemented. Stay tuned.

I am not a fan of "reputation". Some people just shouldn't be allowed to vote.

There's another site that I post on where I have a very low rep. Republicans there don't like me. Every time I post something, someone dings me.

I actualy refer to the one and a half parties when speaking of the Democrats and Republicans. This merger has been precipitated by both reaching out to "middle of the road voters" the result being that there are fewer and fewer real differences between the two.

I was just trying to figure out what the "reputation" rating means.
I didn't find any info on the FAQ after skimming it all. I then navigated to this thread and found that the feature is in progress.
Once you finalize the design please E-mail me and let us know that it is working as intended!
Thank you for this forum along with The American View web site and The American View radio program.

I'm pretty sure it's working as intended. Anyone having issues with it?

That's a great point. I don't know if we can implement it, but I think only those who say they ascribe to our mission statement should be permitted to vote. Good idea.

I think it's an interesting idea, while keeping in mind that Jesus made himself of no reputation.
