You have some funny stuff going on here.

http://www.theamericanview.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3914&postcount=73

I copied and pasted this link from the URL of the page I referred to, but TAV switched the spelling to "whitheouse" and so the URL doesn't work. I tried editing it and it wouldn't change in the post. Whats going on?

I also had similar problems here: http://www.theamericanview.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3585&postcount=102
See my note at the bottom of that page...

Does it have to do with the sequence of letters "theo"? Both times the problem had that sequence...

Oh haha. This is a good one. The Replacement variables are doing what they're supposed to, but it's not acting like expected - for instance, I had a helpful variable replacement for "t-e-h" - assuming it would get all those people who mis-type "t-h-e" - and guess what? It works... but whi*teh*house was being corrected to be whi*the*house.

I thought it only found full words, and not words inside words, but I guess not!

By the way, if you type T-A-V without the -'s it will become "The American View" so when this appears in the middle of a word we may wind up with the same problem. So just a bit further probing and we can lock this down.

Words to test:

(g-u-s-t-a-v) Gustav
(b-t-w-,) btw,
(t-a-v) tav
(i-o-t-c) iotc

case-INsensitive
