View Full Version : Bush funding PP more than Clinton?

I've been listening to the MP3s and I think it was show 14 where it was discussed that Bush gives more money to Planned Parenthood than Clinton did.
Do you have documentation?
If so, I would like to get it and give it to some of my "conservative" Catholic groups, particularly the pro-life groups. I tried to convince them last election, but usually got the response "He's pro life, but can't do anything". I already know he could force PP to do abortions in buildings completely separate from any receiving federal funding with an executive order but hasn't.
I'm not surprised, but am a bit skeptical, and if this is true, it would go off like a bombshell, particularly since we have a Stealth SC nominee.
Could you post an article (with hyperlinks or footnotes), or direct me to one?

To expand on TZ1's idea, would you be able to post your key sources for each show on the forum page for each broadcast, or somewhere else on the site?

I am a Catholic and I would direct your Catholic "conservatives" to the Catholic Apologetics INternational Website
Tell them to look at
1. Seduction of Catholic voter, parts I and II
2. NeoCOn/Evangelical connection (no a protestant bashing article, just the Bush-ites)
3. Neocon/Zionist connection.
Unfortunately, too many Protestants (obviosuly not in the CP) have been hoodwinked, now they are going for the Catholic vote.
I would be interested in forming/working with a Catholic Constitution Party group, a outreach for the CP. Not a exclusiviss group. Rather as a outreach

I'd like to join that Catholic Constitution Party group when it gets going.

And told me to search all.org and pop.org, and to google.
I did and I can't find a statement or evidence that Bush funds PP more than Clinton.
Or is the statement hyperbole or simply wrong?
If it is true, it is very important. Even if it is some large portion (Bush at 80% of Clinton) it would demonstrate the problem.
But there was a specific statement made and I can't find anything to back it up, yet I know people here are concerned about the TRUTH.

Look up 'Title X Funding'. It should give you all the details. Coincidentally, I read an article this morning about Planned Barrenhood which relates the story of an online animated video sponsored by their San Francisco-area branch which features a 'superhero' character drowning an abstinence promoter in a trash can, and blasting into oblivion several pro-life picketers protesting in front of one of the organization's facilities. Our tax dollars at work. Since the GOP now controls the White House, the Senate, and the House, they are really cutting spending to the bone aren't they?

They sued nuremburg.org for drawing an X through a dead abortionist.
The pro-life people (some who are also reproductive service providers under FACE) should sue for intimidation and see if they can get a $100 million judgment?
