Program 28 features an interview by my co-host John Lofton of Vision Forum President Doug Phillips who discusses his independent Christian film festival in San Antonio, Texas, which begins Monday, October 24.

Thank you for bringing this subject up. It is wonderful that San Antonio has picked up the ball and is running with it. Christians really don't have a choice if they take their Faith seriously. We need to counteract the lies and blasphemies that our children, along with the just plain ignorant of the facts types, are assaulted with everyday.

God has convicted our hearts and souls, the necessary means to film and be heard on a worldwide level exists today, and the need has never been more urgent.

For those christian film makers who will take a small step of faith, I believe God will reward them with great creativity and unexpected donors. When we Act in accordance with God's will, doors open. We are not alone.

Faith comes by hearing the Word, but WHO will He send to Speak the Word, that others might be saved?

I would put a challenge out to all young people thinking of entering the Communications field -- Pray, ask God: Me, Lord? Are you calling me to be part of a christian film making industry? He Will Answer.
