This was absolutely the very last time I vote for the lesser evil. I started out as a registered Dem. Didn't take much of Jimmy Carter et al to convert me. In my 20's Ronald Reagan looked pretty good. I finally woke up when George H. W. Bush said read my lips, "no new taxes." He then ran for re-election by saying, repeatedly, "it's a question of 'who do you trust'". Talk about throwing an election!
Then Pat Buchanan comes along as the Reform party candidate. I register as a member but, lo and behold, the jurists on the Supreme (fascist) Court says he can be excluded because the debate committee is a private entity and can do what they want. Even though he had 15(+)% support. Take private property for the benefit of society by an increase in the tax base but allowing an alternative to the left wing/right wing of the same rotten bird is not. Pathetic.
Finally, a radical Marxist gets the Dem nomination and a "traitor to the 'Republican cause' who has no money suddenly vaults to be the Republicrats nominee, and I'm supposed to believe there isn't a conspiracy by corporate interests and international business/bankers, through the corporate owned media, decided who gets the nod? If you believe the electorate chose these two then there is nothing else I can say. Except...
People who ARE Christian MUST leave both parties and join a third party. Anyone who claims to be Christian yet won't leave the "Elephant" have zero credibility with me. Both parties have been co-opted. We must separate ourselves from the neocons and the wannabe's.
God save the Republic.
By the way, after my vote, I had to question whether or not I had any credibility. No more. In God I trust and the devil be damned.
