View Full Version : The Left/Right Difference

In my over half dozen decades, I have ascertained the difference between those of the left and those of us of the right. First, a Nazi or fascist is on the left, not the right. The left wants socialism. Fascism and nazism (national socialism) are only slightly different from communism.

The left is made up of arrogant pessimists when it comes to people. They believe they are intellectually superior to the vast majority of people and that normal people are incapable of taking care of themselves. The left is far more likely to be attracted to government because they see themselves as knowing better how to conduct other people's lives than the other people themselves.

The right is made up of proud optimists. We believe that the vast majority of people are fully capable of taking care of themselves and we are not likely to be attracted to government because we would rather be left alone to take care of ourselves.

In it's most simple terms, the left is made up of collectivists and the right is made up of individualists.

Unfortunately, those of the left have been marching to Washington trying to replace The Constitution with The Communist Manifesto. The Constitution Party is our best hope of rolling back the damage that the left has done and restoring the greatness to this country that it once had.

The terms ( this in no way invalidates your observations) came from the French Revolution, with those on the right side of the Assembly supporting (as much as they were able) the traditional forms of government, and those on the left side in favor of radical change.

So you can have the situation that a left winger can be a communist in the US, and a left winger can be a capitalist in Russia.

I post this just so people who don't already know this can better interpret the terms internationally.
