Is it just me, or is everyone having the struggle to update podcasts? Every week I have to try at least 5 times before the entire show is downloaded. This is the case at the office where the problem isn't bandwith on this side of the network.

Is anyone monitoring the data requests for the show? How many are actually completed? The one thing we don't want to happen is for people to try to hear the show and give up after the second or third try!

Your podcast woes may be a result of the subscription through the iTunes Music Store. I too, have had problems with other subscription services through them. (A New Beginning with Greg Laurie) I finally resolved the issue by accessing the podcast directly. Now all is well.

If you are using iTunes, this can be done from the menu . . . selecting Advanced - Subscribe to Podcast, then putting the url in the window . . .

I hope this helps. :)

Alas, good Doctor, the link did not work. However, when trying the currently defined Podcast (URL: http://www.theamericanview.com/podcasts/theamericanview.xml) I was able to get it to download completely after the fourth try.

Keep me posted. I'm subscribed, and have never had an issue with a program downloading automatically or with multiple "gets" - but I am in the land of Mac - and really don't use iTunes on Windows - that could potentially be why I do not experience the same thing.

Try out Odeo, we're listed there as well.

I download on a Mac with iTunes and no problems so far.
I also have access to plenty of Windows PCs that I could try in iTunes to see if there is a difference.

Listing what kind of internet connection you have could be helpful as well.
If you are using dial up, you run more risks of connection problems, no matter what software you are using.
