View Full Version : Rah! Rah! Siss! Boom! Ba! Roberts Played Key Role In Helping Homosexuals Get Special Rights But Bush/GOP Cheerleaders Cheer On Insisting This Is No Big Deal

On the “NBC Nightly News” (8/5/05), Jay Sekulow is shown saying with, if you’ll pardon the expression, a straight face: “This was not a situation where [Roberts] was advocating a particular position. And that’s why I think that this is why this ended up the way it has. No one has withdrawn their support for John Roberts.” But, of course, Roberts was helping homosexuals advocate a particular position – special “rights” for homosexuals. He did this very effectively. The homosexuals won their case. And they believe they won because of Roberts’ crucial help.

This is what I know about Jay Sekulow:

In exchange for Pat Robertson of the 700 Club providing Bob Dole with his (Pat Robertson's) support, (a few years back), were Dole to have won, Jay himself would have been the next US Supreme Court nominee.

There likely remains such an agreement involving Jay and Pat and President Bush, even though this first one up is not Jay.

Jay is a cheerleader in hopes one day, to be nominated as a US Supreme Court Justice.

Jay's advocacy for Roberts, the current nominee is not in line with the God of the Holy Bible, Who has no doubt seen quite enough trash coming out of presumed (and falsely so) "Holy Men," who themselves now advocate for those whose practices are far less then Holy.
Such as Sodomy.
Such as Homosexual--ism.

Every organizational head that is currently doing the cheerleading have an interestingly ODD item in common:
They have each been beneficiaries of "contributions" made by Rich DeVos, Sr. and /or Jr. -- Yes, of the Amway and Quixtar Multi-Level-Marketing infamy.

Currently, Rich DeVos, Jr., is seeking to become the Governor of the State of Michigan, and later intends to use such a platform to run for the US President, if his effort to become the Governor is successful.

If his money gets into the hands of the computer prgrammers, who knows, but that he may pull off such a stunt. He may get (s)Elected in 2,006.

The Christian communities of this nation have largely forgotten, in large measure, the idea and concept of wolves dressed up in sheep's clothing.
The facts are that we are losing this nation to the rise of Luciferianism and it's Supremecy, precisely because these "Holy" men (wolves) are providing "ineffective" leadership.
Some of us, many of us now believe this is all by their consious, willful intent.
These men are providing a Blantantly False Opposition to Evil, allowing it to rise and then to take control over the Christians until suddenly, hungry lions again get the taste of literal blood. Ours.

There seems to be a total abandonment of discernment.

Folks need to abandone such "leadership" and head on back to the Word, Directly, Quickly, and not get their messages from the Holy Word filtered by such "leadership."

If we fail to do this in time, we will all deserve whatever it is that God unleashes.

In fact, we aready DO deserve it, eh?

Jay Sekulow and other Republican party faithful remind me of Democratic party faithful when they were defending Clinton after he sullied the oval office. In effect, they said, "So what, he lied about sex - that has nothing to do with his job as President."

Jesus said, "He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much." luke 16:10

Roberts has failed the test.

You know, these "conservative" Roberts cheerleaders say they are unconcerned about his involvement in Romer v. Evans. That's beyond me. I wonder if they go home at night and realize what they are doing is misleading many people. I wonder if they feel convicted about lying to Christians about Roberts' convictions and standards...or lack thereof...

Imagine if Roberts had "only" helped out for 5 or 6 hours on Roe v. Wade instead of Romer v. Evans...I wonder if they would be so forgiving of Roberts. I wonder if Jay Sekulow would still be telling us that it doesn't worry him in the least? Would they still be excusing his involvement if the tables were turned? After all, Roe v. Wade is the virtual equivalent to the pro-abort crowd as Romer v. Evans is to the homosexual activist crowd. The fact is, if Roberts desired to please the Lord instead of pleasing men, he would have refused to work on that case. And if the best nominee conservatives can get from the Republicans is one who is who either doesn't have the constitutional convictions necessary to fully and faithfully carry out his job as the highest judge in the land, or doesn't have the moral fiber to stand up for what he KNOWS is right; then we conservatives truly are aliens in our own country.
