Are there any "good" members of Congress, or people in either the House or Senate that you could actually consider voting for?
Ron Paul of Texas and Tom Tancredo and Colorado are the first two that come to mind.

Sen. Coburn was good when he was a Congressman in the 90s. However, he term-limited himself to avoid corruption, and left office as promised. Now, a few years later, he comes back as a Senator, and I've seen a few questionable things from him since. He seems to have caught the disease.
I think you completely answered your own question with those two names!

That's an oxymoron if ever I saw one.

I have an article forthcoming in The Christian Statesman, which will subsequently be published on this site, entitled "The Perjured Nation." The premise is that due to the refusal to abide by their Oaths in all instances (relying "So help me, God" for my strength to abide), we have become a nation built upon the profanation of the Name of God. As the Bible reveals, God will not hold him blameless who profanes His name.
It seems to me that if any Congressman kept his Oath, he would be draft articles of impeachment for the Justices, President, and most of his colleagues, and submit them. The liklihood of success should never be a tool in the Christian's toolbox when it comes to the obligation to keep our lawful Oaths. "A righteous man sweareth to his own hurt," says the Bible.

This is one of the great debates. Do you do what you should on a broad scale (and thereby be kicked out as a crackpot) or do you take incremental steps, after all we didn't get into this mess all at once.
My view is that if a member of congress wanted to act, it would be better to target one person (Justice Souder for example) and make the strongest possible case against that one offender. When that fight is waged it would serve as a warning to others who are acting outside their mandate. "Wow I better start looking at the constitution to see if I can do what I want." In other words just one properly prosecuted case could have a chilling effect on all the extra-legal activity that takes place in the federal government.

Ron Paul is the only congressman I really like, I have heard Tancredo mentioned before but he is very inconsistent. There are some congressman who are decent just based on their voting record such as Jeff Flake(R-AZ), Cynthia McKinny(D-GA), Bernie Sanders(I-VT) and a few others.

look more into Tancredo's voting record, he isn't really different than most Republican congressmen.

I admit that I don't know much about Tancredo overall, but as far as illegal immigration goes, he is by far the most vocal member of Congress speaking on this problem while many tend to ignore it and that is why I mentioned him.

Kudo's to Tancredo for his work against illegal immigration. That is a huge problem that simply must be fixed as soon as possible. I believe that if we get the illegal immigration problem under control and abolish the IRS in favor of the FairTax system we will be two huge steps closer to making life better for the people on who's backs this country rides. If "We The People" can make these two things happen I will feel much better about our ability to control this run-away government. It will certainly give me faith that things will change.

The FairTax system is a joke and if it ever passes everyone will have to pay more taxes, especially those with little money. Also I see no reason for the government to limit the percent they tax you, "hmm we need more money, instead of a 20% tax lets change it to 25%". The 16th amendment was never ratified, so its illegal anyways, this "FairTax" system sounds good at first but would, in the end, screw over every American, rich or poor.
