Cal’s Comments: While the Police Were Deer Hunting….

Posted on November 14, 2011 by Cal Zastrow

With business-killing taxation continuing to hurt the State of Michigan, November 15 marks their annual multi-million dollar boost. November 15-30 every year is the firearm deer hunting season in Michigan when 1.1 million deer hunting licenses are sold (at $15.00 each). Yes, more deer hunting licenses are sold in Michigan than the entire population of Rhode Island, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Alaska, Delaware, Montana, or Vermont. For too many small towns, deer and bear hunting is the biggest shot in the local economy that keeps them going.

Twenty years ago as of this November 20 lots of Saginaw area policemen were off duty to go hunting on the opener. It was a cold Saturday.

Two weeks prior, a stranger called me with an invitation that changed my life. Jim Conway was praying about ending all baby-murder in mid-Michigan. He had participated in the national Rescues in Los Angeles and Atlanta. We planned a peaceful Rescue for Saturday, Nov. 15th, in the plaza where two (of the three) surgical abortuaries were in Saginaw County. Nearly two hundred people showed up early that morning to worship Jesus by peacefully interpositioning ourselves between preborn children and the baby-butchers planning to slaughter them. Moms and pops, teenagers, and six pastors showed up.

The Saginaw Township Police Department quickly came and were shocked to see so many people singing and having Church in the parking lot. Soon, back-up arrived from the City of Saginaw, the Saginaw County Sheriff’s Department, two other neighboring townships, and the Michigan State Police. While they waited for more officers to arrive in order to begin arresting us, a van full of Teen Challenge disciples drove up, jumped out, and shouted praises to Jesus. They kept shouting. They led praises with full volume and faith. The police stopped. They didn’t arrest anyone, but stood and watched. Most of us wept with joy. The sidewalk counselors counted forty moms that they talked to who weren’t able to kill due to the Rescue all day. Of the thousands of cars that drove past on Bay Road that day, we don’t know how many were broken appointments with child-sacrifice.

Some of us kept Rescuing after deer hunting season. After that hunting opener, they’ve always had enough police to arrest and jail us. We found a murdered baby in the dumpster of one of the abortuaries. We named her Baby Esther. The Michigan Department of Health fined the abortuary $250.

Two surgical abortuaries are now permanently closed in Saginaw County, and Women’s Choice Clinic is temporarily closed. My Rescue and jail sister, Monica Migliorino Miller, has also been dumpster diving and finding murdered babies (http://www.prolifesociety.com/prolifesociety/pages/start/startup/home.aspx). Michigan Attorney General, Bill Schuette, has gotten a temporary court order and closed down a deathpit in Lansing and W.C.C. in Saginaw, due to how many dead babies and medical records have been found in their trash. (http://www.michigan.gov/ag/0,4534,7-164–265169–,00.html) . The hearing for their permanent closing is next week, Nov. 21. That would leave only one surgical abortuary left in Saginaw County.

Yes, let us thank Attorney General Bill Schuette for pursuing the closing of these two evil places, but let’s also encourage him to uphold the laws of the State of Michigan against premeditated murder. Yes, murder is illegal here, including of preborn babies. Currently, every Attorney General in America is obeying an unlawful federal court opinion (Roe v. Wade) instead of doing their duty and stopping the slaughtering of children. Courts don’t make laws. For politicians, law enforcement, judges, and citizens to disobey the law in fear of court opinions, is unlawful tyranny.

The proper response to federal court errors, even from these U.S. supreme court [non-caps intended], is for people and States to ignore them and do what is right and lawful. Plus, the fact that not one member of Congress has introduced articles of impeachment against any current federal judge, shows clearly that Congress isn’t doing their duty or upholding their oaths. If supporting baby-murder isn’t reason enough for Congress to impeach judges, then there is no reason!

I have no beef with deer hunting or deer hunters. I do have a great conflict with child-sacrifice, so I invite more deer hunters to peacefully join us on the streets in front of America’s abortuaries. There is no more effective action a Christian can take to stop the shedding of innocent blood than to show up in front of their local killing centers to pray, preach the Gospel, offer help, and show large pictures of the babies murdered there.

  • What is this American View?

Briefly stated, "The American View" of government is that there is a God, the God of the Bible, our rights come from Him, and the purpose of civil government is to secure our rights.

There are many views of government, from equally numerous world views. Americans are blessed that our Founders' Biblical Worldview informed their political philosophy and the framing of our founding documents.
